Following the release of dsp3000s game, I thought it might be fun to have a little intermission before getting back to Crystal.

A while ago, Arianeb released a fun series of images via her Patreon. It’s basically just regular images from the Date Ariane game, but all nude this time.

If  I’ve still got the scene saved, it’s quite easy to render a new image with the character clothing toggled off. So, that’s what I did.

I’m very pleased to be able to release stage four of ‘A Date with Bridgette’ today.

Naturally this follows on from stage three and as such you will need to use your entry code from the end of that stage to continue. Alternatively, you can play through from the very start of the game as one continuous gameplay removing the requirement for codes. You can however ‘save’ your progress at each of the three checkpoints, and then skip stages if you wish. I’ve added a new Main Menu page to allow this option.

Either way, what happens in each stage has various effects on options and outcomes later in the game so it’s worth experimenting to gain different save/continuation codes.

Back to the game itself…

By this point you will have arrived at Bridgette’s apartment, and what can happen next is by far the most varied, detailed and extensive series of scenes I have ever created.

You have an enormous 116 achievements to discover in this stage. Most of these are variations of sexual achievements, including several different positions, multiple orgasms and cumshots. You can’t get all of them in one gameplay, but that’s kind of the point.

If Bridgette is in the right mood, then the more she will let you discover. If she isn’t then your visit will be cut short and you will probably need to go back and try things from another angle. It will take multiple playthroughs if you want to try absolutely everything with Bridgette.

And it’s not just Bridgette. As many of you may have guessed, Didi can also join you for some extra fun. The threesome scene has its own array of options and achievements to indulge yourself with.
Both of these girls are full of suprises!

Stage four adds another 4525 images to the first three parts. So in total there are now just over 11200 images in this game. I think that counts as being pretty big. Admittedly there are lots of animated images in this latest stage which does inflate the count somewhat, but it’s also due to the sheer variety I’ve designed into the game.

Hopefully with all the testing that’s been completed there should be no bugs or glitches. I’m far from perfect, so if you do find any then please report them on the blog and I will correct them as soon as possible.
As always, the game works best when played in Firefox. Chrome doesn’t handle the cookies at all well so don’t even try it.

It’s worth noting that I’ve gone back and updated quite a few files from previous stages of the game and incorporated them into this release version. As such you will need to download the whole game again for optimum results.
In general the earlier stages have only minor technical amendments which won’t change the existing gameplay or narrative. The one exception is an update to remedy the fact that reaching the Alexia bonus scene during stage two was nearly impossible to achieve without cheating. It should be possible during a regular gameplay now.

I am working on a full walkthrough but, given a huge size and variety of the game, it has been proving a bit difficult and time consuming. I do know however that many of you are really crying out for it so I will do my best to have it ready very soon.

Hello there.

I’m happy to report that testing has been going very well and I’m about 99% confident that stage four of ‘A Date with Bridgette’ will be ready for release next Friday October 11th. The full stats and general info will be included with the release. I’m also hoping to release a walkthrough at the same time.

I just need another few days to check for and iron out any glitches. I’ve also had a chance to go back and amend any errors and continuity issues from the previous three stages. Not that there were actually that many, but I want things to run as smoothly as possible.

Lot’s of work done this week making images for Crystal Part 3. The entire introductory sequence is done, plus a couple of other locations. More previews from them in the coming weeks.

Time for a quick update on Crystal this week.

I finally have a fairly comprehensive plan for the game that I’m happy with. This means I’m deep into the next stage which is creating and setting up the various outfits and locations.

This will be Crystals main outfit.

As you can see, it’s a bit of a twist on the original, but also distinctly different.

Right now, I’m currently focusing on locations.

This week, an update from dsp3000…

So it’s about time I broke my radio silence after a few months on the dark side of the moon.

The nature of my ‘real job’ means that between April and September I don’t have much free time to commit to game production.

It’s been a frustratingly slow process with far too many distractions and interruptions for any sort of efficient work flow.

There have been a few occasions when I’ve considered deleting everything and disappearing completely.

Thankfully I’m pretty experienced when it comes to talking myself back from the brink and don’t really want to trash a project I’ve been working on for the last four years.

As a safety mechanism I close down communication channels to avoid as many distractions as possible.

Phone switched off, no checking emails and I haven’t even visited the Vdategames blog for several weeks. Apologies to anyone with unanswered questions in or about my absence.

I think the last thing I posted on the blog was that stage four of ‘A Date with Bridgette’ was about 90% complete.

While completing the final ten percent may not seem like much, when the whole game exceeds 12000 images, it’s actually still quite a lot.

Stage four will add about another 4400 images to those from stages one to three.

Technically the game is exponentially complex, with so many variables it’s easy to get lost while making it. But I keep exhaustive notes to keep a track on my ideas and how they are implemented. Continually having to break off and come back later doesn’t help but I’m getting through it.

I have finished the main body of images and files for stage four and I’m now in the painstaking process of game testing. I want to make sure all the holes are filled in this game.

Once I’ve done my first series of checks and tests, it’ll be sent off for some independent testing to iron out any errors and anomalies.

I am hoping to get the game ready for release by the end of September.

Saturday post!!!

No update from dsp3000 just yet, but I’m sure it’s not too far away.

In the meantime, I’d just like to charge in and add what I think are probably my final set of Crystal drafts. 

I almost have a complete plan of what I want to do in the game, and I think you’ll all like it. It’s kinda a hybrid of the multi -linear style, but with heavy injections from the ‘very open’ style.

Just a simple ‘proof of life post’ today.

Obviously, I’m not doing this as I usually would on a Friday. The main reason why is that I was contacted by dsp3000 on Friday and wanted to try and figure out what (and when) we’re both doing next exactly.

So, yeah. I’ve done some more work on my Crystal model, and hopefully I’ll have something to post from dsp3000 fairly soon.

As you all know, the key to victory is surprise.

Molly and Marianna, the final version has now been added to the members section.

This adds 213 new images to the game, which allow the player to play as a woman. There are also multiple small bugs fixed, and a full walkthrough has been added to the members help section.

Sadly, I didn’t add nearly as much content as I wanted. There are no new scenes for the male player. It’s basically just what I really needed to do for the female option. I’m ready to move on to the next game, and this one’s already been going on longer than most of my production cycles.

Obviously I’ve been talking about Crystal part 3 recently, and that’ll be my next game. But which of the 2 obvious formats should it take.

1- Linear with some branching off, similar to Leanna or Miranda.

2- Very open, like Maddison. You can roam everywhere, but each location is typically fairly short.

3 – 3 to 5 linear but different paths, similar to my first Crystal game (‘on the town’ path, pool party path, and steamboat path).
