This week, details from dsp3000 on his next game…

I’m happy to reveal that I am well over halfway through the production on my next game. The images will give you a few clues as to how this one will look.

This game will be the first part of a series where the endings from one part will carry over into the next.

I’ve spent a few months working on a pretty extensive plot for each part and I’ve also developed about 15 new characters, some of whom you can see for yourselves.

For continuity, Maria features in the new games, along with Holly, Amy, and Lola. These girls were introduced in the final installment of the Tara game. More details about the game will be released in future blog updates along with the names of all the new characters.

So far I’ve completed just under 400 images for part one, so I’m anticipating about 800 on completion. Hopefully this should be before the end of March.

I think it’s time for another small survey for this site. I think it’s been at least two years since I had one.

In other games similar to mine, I often see the images switch to third person, especially during the sex scenes. I’ve always avoided it, as I feel switching from first person spoils the immersion, but would people like to see this? It would still have the ability to customize the player character though. The third person camera angles would probably be positioned so you can’t see their face.

 

 

 

Today I’m finally going to do something I’ve planned for a while – A blog post with a big pile of fun trivia for the site. I hope you enjoy it.

Characters and Places

• The original plan when I started making these games was to have first and surnames of all the characters alphabetical. This was a homage to arianeb, the game which inspired me to start making them. So, the list would go Ariane B, Crystal D, Erica F…and then I did Leilani and the whole thing fell apart. It’s probably for the best though as I would have ran out of letters on the 12th character.
• Crystal and Kelly were originally going to be sisters. This is why, if you look closely, their facial structures are almost identical. Check out this comparison of them without hair.
• Do you remember the Mysterious ‘Lady’ who owned the nightclub in my earlier games? Well, under the mask it was Rachel. It wasn’t something I intended to have as a twist reveal though, it was just the model I used. It was easier than creating a new character from scratch.
• In case you haven’t guessed it, Mr. Hughes is basically supposed to be Hugh Hefner.
• Jennifer was originally going to be an updated version of Crystal. Hence, they both seem to like dressing in black leather.
• The most commonly used character in these games is Rachel, appearing in far more rendered images than any other character.
• Before I learned how to do background images myself, I used screenshots from Hitman : Blood Money and Grand theft Auto 4. If you can, play them and see how many locations you can spot!
• Ellie was originally going to be an Elf in one of my fantasy games, alongside Naria as a warrior who helped her, and Maddison as the Princess who they were rescuing. I couldn’t come up with enough ideas to make me confident in it though, so I ended up transferring them all to Photographer. I still have all the models and outfits though.
• 
• While I’m talking about it, is there an interest in seeing this game finished? Looking through the files is making me feel all nostalgic about it.

Statistics

• Vdategames.com gets around 150,000 visitors per month. Sadly, though, less than one per cent sign up for the members section. 🙂

Grace has now been released and is available in the members section. If you can’t see it, make sure you refresh your pages.

The final image count is 123, with two main endings to aim for. So, much larger than other mini games like Kelly Solo, but not as big as the biggest ones of course.

As stated in previous blog posts, this game is all about Grace, who decides that today at work, she is simply going to amuse herself. This can include things like browsing the internet for funny cat pictures, dancing in her office naked, or eventually, sex with Sarah.

Since I was pretty vague about the details of Grace last week, I think it’s time to go through some more details.

First of all, the full Title will be ‘Grace : A day at the Office’.

As with my other mini games, Kelly solo, Strippers and Erica & Crystal, you will be controlling Grace rather than playing as the normal player character. Instead of doing her normal work, Grace decides to spend the day doing whatever she likes instead. As you choose different actions, her mood will improve and open up new ones.  Her actions can include anything from paperwork, to dancing naked in her office, trying to seduce her assistant Sarah, or masturbating on her desk. The purpose of the game is to see how many fun scenarios you can get her into before time runs out at the end of the working day.

I’m still aiming to release it next Friday.

 

Through a combination of last weeks poll, the ideas I currently have to work with, and my personal preference, I’ve decided to do a Grace Mini game. I probably won’t be labeling it as a mini game though, as it looks like it’ll be much larger than, say, Kelly Solo. I’m estimating it’ll be around 150 images. It will also likely be finished and release two weeks from today.

I’ve also decided to make Betsy a large game later in the year. If you had your heart set on a Tammy or Daisy mini game, or perhaps Pool Party 2, don’t worry too much though. There’s a likely chance some of them will be appearing throughout the year too.

 

I’m finding it a little hard to decide what to do for my next game right now.

To be blunt, the plan was to do Crystal Part 3. Progress is going very well, but it’s one of those games where I can’t resist the temptation to keep adding things. It’s a temptation I could resist, but I feel like the third game in the Crystal trilogy need to be one worthy of it’s title. So, basically, I can keep working on her, but I may not be finished for a while yet. Release may be the end of April or later.

As a result, I think I want to take a break from her and do a smaller game first. But what to do? I’m making this blog post to get some opinions on the matter.

Some of the long term followers of the site might recall me posting an image of Rachel with her sister, Betsy a long time ago. One possibility might be to do a game with her. A possible problem with that though, is I particularly like her, and wonder if she would be wasted on a small game. I spent a lot of time refining her school uniform (school would be the setting). What do you think?

Of course, another possibility would be to make a mini game focusing on another character. There’s plenty of popular ones who haven’t had a game focusing on them yet.

Grace? Tammy? Daisy? I don’t think I have the conviction towards making a large game featuring any of them though.

Just a small post today to say that Jennifer will be released for free on Monday 21st of December.

Today I’m very pleased to announce that “Tara Part Three: The Assignment” is finished and ready for release. Overall I’m really happy with how it has turned out. It’s been lots of work, and exceeded my initial plans in terms of game size and complexity.

There are a total of 1291 images in the game plus a few other associated images taking the total over 1300. I should also mention that 286 of them are high quality animated gifs. Most of these are in the extensive sex scenes. There are seven main endings to find, and plenty of the usual options and variations within the scenes.

Of course, what you can discover and experience whilst playing the game depends entirely on the choices you make. It’ll be well worth spending a little time playing the game and figuring out what actions lead to what outcomes.

This game concludes the Tara Trilogy and will be found in the members section alongside parts one and two.
